Owner Updates
For those of you that have been long time friends and customers, our founder and father Milton Watts celebrated his 95th birthday on October 23, 2014. He serves as our board chairman and continues to be very active in airport management, visiting the office daily. Watch our web site and this space for many more details on Milt’s lifetime experiences as a general aviation pioneer and airport owner.
Steven Watts makes his home in Bellingham, Washington, where he is employed as a senior management consultant for FAA transport category aircraft certification. In addition to his skills as a photographer and photography instructor, Steve has enjoyed a fascinating career incorporating aircraft interior design skills and FAA certification program management.
Beginning with his experience overseeing a 4 1/2 year Grumman Albatross transformation program at our former Yolo County airport facility, Steve has served as Senior Program Manager for Boeing Business Jet and Global Express corporate jet completion programs, and now manages airline interior completion FAA certification programs. Steve also assists us as an airport ownership partner and board member.
Our long time friend and office manager Arlene Moore also joins us as an airport partner and board member. After overseeing our business accounting systems grow from hand writing records to early computers and modern PC’s, Arlene now makes her home with family in Sacramento.
